Tourism Ireland wanted a quick, cheap and dirty way to get people talking about the fact that the bit in Star Wars: The Last Jedi where Luke drank the shit blue space cow milk was shot on a small island off the west coast of Cork.
So we did a world first and used a weather balloon to put up the Earth’s first tourism ad in space. As far as we know no passing aliens saw it, but a few humans definitely did and they wrote about it for the newspapers.
So mission accomplished, I guess.
